Dance Studio Construction

Office Renovation

Frank and his team completed an office renovation for us. Right from when he was hired to do the job Frank took control and performed everything needed for us. This job involved obtaining permits and architectural drawings, relocating the HVAC, adding additional electrical and so on.

Home Renovation

We recently had the pleasure of working with Frank from FM Contracting for a major renovation of our home, and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome. Drywall, Painting, Carpeting, Wainscoting, Staining

First off I would like to express my gratitude to FM Contracting for the fine work that they have done. They were called to provide a quote on some water damage that occurred at our golf club. The area was in the basement billiard room on the north wall. We had carpeting removed do to water damage, drywall was also removed followed by the wainscoting. Not only did FM Contracting do a good job re-installing everything back to its original condition, they matched the paint colour to the wall and stain to the wainscoting. Now when members come down to use the billiard room they can’t tell if the room was redone expect for the new carpet, that shows how detailed they were in placing everything back including hanging back item on the wall.

With that said, and the attention to detail, I have asked Frank to re-due carpeting in other areas of the club with the same results. He was on time, on budget and has gone above my expectations to have a satisfied client. I will be using FM Contracting on my future renovations.

Full First Floor Renovation

This was our first big renovation, that was finished a couple of weeks ago, we did a full renovation on the first floor of our semi: the kitchen, powder room and living, dining, and guest rooms.We moved some internal walls, and replaced all of the first floor windows and doors, and the entrance door.

Before we started, we spent about 3 months looking for professionals to hire, and talked to a dozen people. Frank immediately made the top of our list, and easily became our first choice. In hindsight, had had we known what we know now, we would've made the same choice.

The professionals he brought in were exceptional and were very kind people. Materials and the work are great; the more we are getting back to our normal life the more we like our new first floor.

Some changes to the initial plans were made during the whole project. It was very easy to communicate and discuss things with Frank. Sometimes we agreed with what Frank was suggesting, and sometimes Frank agreed with us and accommodated things the way we wanted it to be - that is to say if technology and codes permit so.

We highly recommend Frank for your future renovation.

Washroom Renovations (Orkin Canada)

Frank and his team did an excellent job. The project was to renovate the man's and woman's washroom in our company in 2 weeks time around Christmas and new yer. I called 4 contractors; I chose Frank because the following reasons: 

1/ he showed strong interest and enthusiasm in this project from the beginning.

2/ he is very patient and is willing to answer all my questions patiently and clearly.

3/ very good chemistry.

4/ he demonstrate strong confidence that he can do the job well and that we will be very satisfied. 

5/ Knowledge and see things in detail.. During the visit , he noticed that we could not use 12 x 12 tiles on the floor since the drain in the middle is much lower. He recommended stones, which turned out to be a great choice. The other 3 contractors never noticed or mentioned that the drain is much lower.

Frank and his team is very organized, they did the job within the time line, and he cleaned up after the job was done. Also, i have to mention that, Whenever possible, Frank would try his best to save us money. For example, he saved us money from moving the mirror from the wall by covering the lower end of the mirror with the tiles. ( You won't tell the difference if you don't look really closely), he also gave us good discount for the new toilet we replaced. for The extra work in the cleaning room, he did what is necessary for the minimum amount of money. 

Also, during the renovation, Frank spent most of the time on site and he did some jobs himself; this is a big difference from other contractors, because a lot of contractors are sub contractors themselves. They do not stay on site often, and if there is something wrong and unexpected happens, then it may delay the projects.

We are all very happy with the look of new washroom for the amount of money we spent.

In summary: Frank is honest, knowledgeable, experienced, and very proud of his work. I can trust him to do any work for my own house.

Basement Renovation

Frank and his team did an amazing job in my basement renovation! A small basement to which they managed to give me everything I needed by using every inch of the space!
